picked up chris this morning about 9.30 and visited A5 aquatics, Dobbies, Ripples, back to Dobbies and then Maidenhead aquatics.
A5 = too expensive, very small fish and nothing from the norm
Dobbies = well priced and nice healthy fish, except the 2 discus....
Ripples = very overstocked tanks even for lfs, quite dirty tanks and lots of algae, some decent priced stuff.
Maidenhead = limited stock, excellent prices and healthy looking fish.
i came home with a nice sized java fern on bogwood for £5.95
3 x echinodorus rose plants that are about 18 inches tall and very healthy £10 a 2-2.5 inch pearl gourami £3.95
chris came home with a bulldog plec, a small puffer fish and a bar of brine shrimp
we also found a stray long finned zebra danio in with my gourami so as chris already has some of these he took it home.....
a good day out and some great purchases and got home about 1400.
