Well, Wasn't The Christmas Tv Total Compost.

I canceled my sky subscription just before christmas so TV was even worse then normal (though I dont normally watch Tv at all over christmas). Seems TV in general (in the UK at least) is complete rubbish. I canceled my sky subscription after looking through the moving channels and seeing films being played that where being played when I first got Sky (about 10 years ago!!!)

Personally I dont really bother anymore. There are one or two things I like on TV (Lost, BSG, heroes and umm thats about it at the moment) but with the money I save from the sky subscription its no big deal to just to go and buy the box sets when they come out.

I think TV as it is now really is a dying media. Most things I want to see are on the internet somewhere and I can then watch them as and when I want to. I see Channel 4, Sky and BBC are all starting to provide content on demand from their websites and this is the future of TV imo.

yes same thing year in year out lucky i had the computer and the forums to go on
you just get a bit sick of it all

I have dish and there was still nothing to watch. You had Sci-Fi doing a 24-hr twilight zone marathon, really what were they thinking. All the scheduals where messed up and all my show where pushed back til after christmas break. OH, and don't forget that channel where there is a 24-hr fire going with christmas music playing in the background. Mabey it will heat your house.

Edit: Do they have the tv fire across the pond?
