Well Tomorrow Is The Big Day!

I go to collect my 4x2x2 (the missus doesnt know im actually getting it....oops)

Cant get it until 6pm which is a shame as it means putting the other half through hours of setting up and transferring fish

Plan is as its volume is greater than my current tank is to fill 2/3 with tank water, the rest with dechlorinated water, add some mature media to the external filter run the tank faff about with decor and sand, then add the chaps to their new home


Now, does anyone have any good gift ideas for a lady unaware shes going to have to live with another new tank...?

Seriously, congrats on the new tank. Hope you have many happy hours watching your fish in their new home. Now, as for the spouse, probably all you really need to do is think it through. Most husbands can come up with half a dozen things they know their spouse would love to have.

Even my boyfriends brother (the one with the tank that caused all the ruckus) told his then pregnant and very hormonal girlfriend before he got the tank! granted he had already bid on it on ebay mind!

I'd say goodbye to friends and family now pal!

Haha!! Good luck with that one, if I was to do that, both my tanks would be out the window, smashed and my bags with the tanks haha!!

All I can say is maybe on your way pop via a jimmy choos or a bag shop and put it in the tank and say I've bought you a present, it's in the car. That's how I would do it
