Well Not Impressed!

I got a foot long BGKF i saw in the lfs a week or two ago as it was only £15 which i thought was cheap for the size, it's been eating well and it's really active, went over to switch my tank lights out and it's whole head and a large part of the body was inside my Polpyterus Weeksii ! Like what the hell the Weeksii is only a few inches longer! i opened the tank lid which made the bichir shoot of leaving the BGKF dead on the bottom.
Proper mentle though as i have like a 2inch Delhezi in there which is not eaten a few inch butterfly fish and none are botherd.

I can officially say i'm not trying that again!

annoying and surprising cos I;ve often kept BGK's and Bichirs tomorrow

Saying that I always suspected it was my bichir more than anything that eat my L25 plec when he was muched up from seeing one years ago eating a large angel that it couldn;t fit totally in its mouth but killed anyway

Definatly took me by suprise , the only thing i can think of why it did it was because the BGKF went into it's cave a few times but the other bichir's go in and out of the cave and it doesnt bother them.

I'll pop it down on my list of lessons learn and get some more bichir's instead.

thats a shame that, but like you said its a lesson to be learnt, i told you simon you should of sold the L25 to me lol
there are some for sale in yorkshire for £110 but i think they're only 3" so i think im going to still get the L014 for £140.

I wish I sold it to the guy who offered me £150 the week before without seeing it!!!
