I currently have...

4 pink kissers
2 moonlight
1 giant indian ( 1 passed away over the weekend... he wasnt right when i get him, but i tried to nurture him)
3 3spot
Pair of perals
Pair of neon dwarfs
4 golden
along with harlequins, 5 golden babrs ( which are going soon, just no where else to put them) 4 Khuli loach, 5 albino corys

and i have to say this is the best tank out of the 6 that i currently have. the water is constantly crystal clear ( and its only running on a fluval 3 plus, soon to be upgraded to an external) i have had just the one death in the tank since its set up. I would like to add a pair of honeys and blues and i think it will be nicely completed. There is no infighting (although the male pearl appears to be the daddy in the tank) and its setup in my bedroom next to my bed. Its just a sheer pleasure to look at it !! i often find myself laid in bed with the tv on watching the tank LOL !

While it may look lovely currently you're going to have problems sooner or later. 3 spots are the most aggressive of them all and with so many top dwellers they'll all be in fighting mode very soon. :(
How big is the tank and how heavily planted?
I really wouldn't add dwarfs to that lot at any cost. They'll be killed.
Hugs,
P.
Edit:The kissers are also aggressive and you'll find them getting into and causing fights too.

Is it just me or does this tank sound very overstocked? I'm not critisizing you at all, you just didn't say how big the tank is!

Until we know the tank size I'd hate to judge but it seems very top heavy fish wise. And that could be lethal in time.
Hugs,
P.

Also, are there too many gouramis species represented in this setup? I was under the impression that it wasn't great to mix gouramis species. I could be wrong, though. Sorry for the slight hijack, but that's what I was noticing about the stocking, besides the fact that there's too many fish in the upper strata, and potential overstock.

Hi guys.

the tank is 60x18x18 (plenty of room) and is VERY heavily planted. I am planning on moving half the stock into another tank once my fish house is built and up and running. I understand what you mean by fighting. I actually bought a male betta and asked if he would be ok in my gourami tank and the lfs said yes. put him in, went out, came back 3 hours later and he'd had his butt kicked big time ! learnt a lesson there me thinks !!

the majority of those fish have been in there for 2 months now with no incidents at all as yet. But i was planning on splitting them any way and attempting to breed the dwarfs, so i may move them this evening if you feel they could get in trouble.
