Nothing like getting an issue with a tank, to let you know, that you need to fix something... Got Ich in one tank... coincidentally just a week or two after, I bought several nets, so one per tank, no sharing... then that made me think of gravel vacuums... either one per tank, or having a better way to sanitize all the "tools of the trade", including aquascape tools as well... I was going to buy some square plastic ware containers that the nets would immerse into... but chasing down that "rabbit trail" my aquascape tools wouldn't fit in it...

right now I'm thinking just a pair of 5 gallon buckets I can mix my bleach water in one, & syphon into the other to fully sanitize the syphon, & the buckets would be big enough, to sanitize all my tools... I could do this in the bath tub, & sanitize it afterwards ( bigger tanks require bigger tools, & some of my vacuums have 4 foot ridged plastic tubing )... actually it's not the 1st time I've linked the bath tub / shower... to my hobbies... my traditional muzzleloaders get the wood removed, & the metal parts get cleaned with dish soap & water... tub / shower is the easiest place to accomplish this...

any that have multiple tanks... what is your routine???

I have a set of siphons for QT, and then the regular. I don't gravel vac, so that's no issue for me. I have plants and don't overfeed.

I could have trouble if I missed an outbreak, but I trust my qt for that. I may do a fish shipment/purchase later this month, and I have the QT tanks ready for when I decide.

I don't net soak, but I divide my set up into racks, and each has its own equipment. My siphon hoses are about 30 inches long, and I pour into a wider pool filter hose that runs to a floor drain. That gets moved along as I do changes.
