I've redone my main tank, swapping the gravel out (bad nitrite problem :(), Planted alot of HC cuba, replanted all old plants, added mini landscape rocks. What do you think?

I think it looks nice, unsure how it'll look all grown in tbh. Hopefully it'll turn into a lovely jungle :p

I would look at maybe moving the drift wood , the top of it is creating a focal point that feels slightly uneasy. The individual componants look lovely (really like the gravel! what is it?) but there is a slight lack of direction to it.

Obviously, this is my opinion. It is FARRR better than some tanks I have seen, and if you are happy with it and enjoy watching it, then that's all that matters :good:

Thanks for the comment I see what you mean I've moved it backward, new pic in first post. The gravel is fine black gravel from pets at home, very nice quality :good:

That looks a bit better, If you are going for a jungle feel then this'll work nicely, the hardscape is a bit more subdued now, you just have to keep the plants sorted to work with it :good:

Personally, I prefer hardscape focal points supported by plants, but it didn't suit your tank... no idea why!haha

I really don't like how I sound in this thread, I'm nitpicking, it really is a lovely tank :good: Just picking on a few minor details, if you get me?

No your not nitpicking this is the sort of opinions I was after, I know it takes more than one view to make something as good as it can be. Much appreciated :good:

Looks good, have to say due to the perspective I'd have used thinner stems behind the rock, such as Rotala.

I meant to comment last night but was busy... If that carpet works out, its going to be really lovely. I kind of like the larger stems in the back.
