sorry about my tone but wat is wrong with my fish.

it looks like a retard.
all it does is sit at the bottom of the tank like a spastik then suddenly shoot up in a straight line and sink back to the bottom.
this is not good but i dont know wat is wrong so i cant deal with it. could it be to do with brain damage through bad conditions wen transported into shops etc.
thanxs for any help

What type of fish?
What size tank?
Readings for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and PH?
How long has tank been set up?
What other fish in the tank?

all test prove ok in the water had the tank for a while now

Do you know what your water readings are?
Your tank is overstocked and that could be causing problems with your water quality.
Which fish is behaving strangely?

The tanks overstocked.
I would do an immediate water change, then get your water tested at the lfs asking them to write the readings down for you.

THE TANK IS TWO FOOT LONG. 1 FOOT AND A HALF WIDE AND 1 FOOT AND A HALF TALL. DONE WATER TESTS TWO DAYS AGO AND NITRATE, PH AND AMONIA ALL TESTED GOOD. LIKE I SAID ONLY HAD THIS PROB TWICE AND HAD ALOTE MORE FISH THAN THAT ONLY OTHER PROB IV HAD IS WHITE SPOT AND FUNGUS BUT THEY BEEN TREATED STRIAGHT AWAY

Whats in the bigger tank.
What is your nitrite reading.
If water stats are good it sound like a bacterial infection to swim bladder.
To be honest the fish won't make it.
