went into my room to take a look at my fish and guppy fry and some how there is a black molly baby in the fry tank im very happy about this because i accidently bought a ballon molly (thinking it was ver pregnant lol) and i was sad because i wanted molly fry... i still dont know how this happened but the fry is just resting on the bottom of the fry tank


anyone here know what could have happened?



ps- i searched the tank and there are no more baby mollies anywhere

So you bought a molly and it died? If that's the case, maybe the molly fry is the only remaining one left from a bunch that were released before it died. The rest could have been eaten or sucked into the filter maybe?

How big is your tank and what do you have in it?? And congrats on your fry!

That is all I can think of unless it came with the balloon molly in the bag, but you should have seen that

i kno that it brought a ton of ick with it...it killed all my adult fish by ick
