Weird Lump On My Molly...

There is a weird lump on my mollies' forehead, very weird, actually... its not exactly a lump, as it is not really jagging off its forehead... its more dissimulated, like this bracket (. Is it harmful? WHAT is it? Its on a male dalamtion molly, 10 gal, stats:

ammonia- 0
nitrite- 0
nitrate- 40
PH- 7.2
alkalinity- 175

i know nitrite is on the edge, but ill do a water change shortly...

could be a genetic defect? or its just deformed. has it always had it? can we get a pic ???

oh and you have a parrot fish in a 10 gal tank ?? thats too small for it IMO.

My camera broke, so no pics... it has never had the lump until recently, i jst suddenly noticed it one day. Oh and the parrot, you can see it in the pic on my signature, its pretty small, andi know i will have to give it back to the store one day once it gets too big.

I just now saw this post. Does the molly still have the lump? Has it progressed since?

Also, if you're planning to return the parrot, why not go ahead and return it now? Not trying to attack you, just curious.
