My recently purchased gorgeous white CT betta, "Snowball" had a whiter marking on him under his top fin - around the top of his spine and it went around to the other side— I thought was a birthmark, or a defect. Now that he's getting bigger, it's more noticeable, and looks larger — it looks "clumpy" almost like cauliflower--do you think it's a tumor or something like that? I'm really worried. He's very active and eating like a pig, but I don't know if I should be treating him or not. Him being white makes seeing fungus, ick, etc. difficult.Weird Growth?

it might be a fungus; one of my bettas developed some clumpy, white stuff on his fins and i treated him with jungle fungus clear that got rid of it quickly.

yes most deffinately sounds like cauliflower disease many products such as fungus treatments can cure this
