Hey,
I've got a fish tank with guppies, a few gouramis, a ram and a few corys. Recently, one of my gouramis started to put its mouth out of the water very frequently. I know that gouramis breath outside water as well as inside but he's been doing it all the time. The others seems to be fine and there is aeration in the tank. Any ideas?
Thank you.

What is the tank size and what is the temperature of the tank?

Maybe try turning down the heat to around 77. Sometimes the oxygen and the fish are affected by higher temps.
The temperature hasn't changed since I got him (year ago maybe). Also, if that was the case, wouldn't most of the fish be affected?

Hmmm... Maybe they are just doing it to do it but that would be weird if so

There is not a single thing that could cause him stress. Water's good, he's got friends, not even had stress ich.
Can you show a pic of the tank? How many hiding spots are there to hide in?
