Weird Fish Relationships?

have any of your fish formed unlikely relationships? becuase my elephant nose amd my green severum is best friends with my huge elephant nose.

cool fish

almost brought a elephant nose last week but for once my impulse urge didnt appear......thank god

i got a betta and a lyre tail green guppy (i know the mixture isnt good but its working great for me) that follow eachother around all day, feed together and settle in the same place just above my filter every night

My male brichardi and my d=female sword. The brichardi tryed to court her so many times that I cant even count!!!!!!

Ive got a small (3-4" koi) in a 3ft tank (only temp) with 3 gudgeon (think a coldwater sucking loach but just with a normal mouth)

One of the gudgeon in constantly following the koi around, swimming by its side, even up to the surface ect. Im sure he thinks hes a koi too!

In our first tank, our betta Steve actually thinks hes a cory. He swims around with them, eats with them, and plays with them too. Our one sterbai Yoshi thinks hes a loach. One shy little glassfish Elmo hides under the castle with a tetra, its like theyre plotting something.

And in our second tank, all the lady bettas seem to want to be corys. You'd think a mid-water fish would want to stay that way, but its like the corys are too cool to just be admired from afar. All our bettas are like little impressionable children copying the older cooler kids.

My blue ram, Punky and my Dwarf gourami, Rami are best of mates.

At the start they were not to friendly, but now all they do is swim up and down the tank together all day and dont leave each others side.

Both are males.

Well when I placed my finrot danio gal and guppies into the main tank (they had been in a quarantine tank for 2 weeks).. My danio gal would not leave their side. Even when my big Bully danio would chase her, she'd go right back to the guppies.
She's gone back to schooling with the danios now, but she'll still swim with the guppies as well

I just love readings stuff like this!! Just so cute hearing the different fish playing/hanging with eachother lol.

I have a Clown Loach that sticks to my Red Tailed Black Shark like glue he completely ignores the other clown loach.
They stay together in a cave & when the RTBS comes out the Clown will follow to help patrol their area.
When I drop some courgette in the tank they take turns ripping it to bits while the other guards, chasing off anything else that's silly enougth to get close.

Indeed.. My daughter's Guppies love to get in your hand, if for any reason you put you hand in the tank all her Guppies try it, if she cup's her hand there all in there like a shot

If you dont mind me asking, what size tank is that and what fish is in. all the fish look wonderful. and i know some of the but wanted to know the rest interesting setup with 2 diff gravel lmao.
