Theres a picture, any ideas what is wrong?

Thank you :)

It looks almost like the start of fin rot.. not possitive but thats my guess but to help you should give some basic info

tank size?
heated?
Filterd?
Water changes?
Stats?; nitrites? Amonia?
Time youve had him?

Obvious finrot.

Bad water conditions.

Maracin 2.

Search the forums for proper treatment with maracin 2.

No, Bettafix/Pimafix will not do anything for this.

Yes, you need a larger tank and a filter heater.

Hate to be blunt... but that's how it is. Best of luck.

One problem with that is Maraxyn II is not available in the UK. Any tetracycline based meds for animal care in the UK must be obtained through a vet. While I've never had to use esha2000 I've heard plenty of good things about it, and due to the lack of medication availability in the UK this, along with water changes is probably the best starting point.

Ahh I only got him from pets at home yesterday :/ I blame them, he died though.

The tank was -

12 gallons [I thought this was a good size?]
Filtered with a
Heated to 26 degrees.
No water change as I only had him one day.
Stats - no idea.

That tank is more than adequate. This one is on the seller, I'd contact them, in most cases you would be due a refund or a replacement.

agree with Tolak, take the pic of the fish and take him back to P@H, they will offer you a refund or another Betta.

Its funny though, To buy a fish at Pets at Home its like Who wants to be a millionaire, yet the majority of the P@H stores I've been to have pretty poor fish care.
