Hello,
Today i added a whole new driftwood setup to my 55 gallon tank, i took all the old stuff out.
But i took out one rock, and there was a patch of black/brown eggs under it. Theres no way it's fish eggs because that side was facing the bottom/gravel. I've tried to do some research but nothing fits what this is. But another guy had black eggs ( not in a patch ) and someone said it can be fungal spores. I believe thats what it is because my discus has been less active for a while and they have been a bit dark and less colorful.
Tank specs.
50g tank
IT HAS BEEN CYCLED.
6.6-6.8 Ph
Odyssea T5 lights
And
30-50% W/c every other day.
Fish-
4 Discus 4-5 inches each
1 blue ram
2 tiger plecos
1 gold nugget pleco
1 blue phantom pleco
1 clown loach
One thing that you should know is that i am treating the tank for heximita because my discus have been having white feces so we thought it can be that.
They also had what seemed to be the start of hole in the head. This happend probably 1-2 months ago, then we read that it can be stray voltage in the tank to cause it so we got a ground probe and they got better instantly.
Heres a picture of the 'eggs'.
All help will be appreciated
Thanks,
Tom
