weird bettas!

hey i just thought that id share my weird bettas with u! its usually the case that when u put a nwet in the fishtank for whatever reason the fishes will swim away, well my female bettas seem to do exactly the oppsite- as soon as i put the net in the water they seem to swim not just up to it but in it- perposely? Weird huh? Just wondering does anybody elses bettas do this?

Yeah, I've conditioned all my fish to do this by putting food in the net; bettas, gouramis, bala... all of them. Now when I put the net in to scoop them out, they all try to get in! I would appreciate anyone able to tell me how to reverse this! j/k Your betta may even let you pet him. Mine does, comes up to the top and I can pet him w/ my finger on his body and fins... bettas are definitely full of personality!

My first female Betta used to swim into my cupped hand and just sit there Little sweety

I put my hand in my female betta tank sometimes and they all play with me... swimming between my fingers and such I love those little gals. I have a couple of freckles on my hand, and sometimes they mistake them for food and bite me *roflol*
