Well, i got three weather loaches and they're awesome! My mom doesn't like them, but I do. I plan on selling them to some of my newbie friends, since they're very great at thriving temp's and diseases. (Fully treated them already, after a huge infection)

My friend has a currently being cycled 10g tank, (going to be done in a few days.) for black moor of his.

You think I could put a weather loach with it? :P *Just one.

My other friend is going to have a 20-30G tank cycled by the end of school winter break. 20g good enough for at least 1-2 Dojos, a few adf's and a few panda cories? (Its going to be a dedicated tetra tank, but I'm trying to get him to add some bottom dwellers 'cause he likes my frogs/loaches.)

So, is 10g good for one,
and 20g good for two?

*Adult sized, except for one thats at least 1-3 inches off the other two.

IMO A 10 gallon tank is going to be too small for a dojo loach. They can get pretty long and have a fair amount of body mass to boot.

On a side note, be careful with your substrate. Dojo's love to dig and bury themselves in the gravel. If it's too rough or sharp it can injure the fish and it may suffer from a secondary bacterial infection.

10 gals is far too small for a Black moor or any sort of goldfish whatsoever. He will need a bigger tank in 3-4 months, you may want to let him know they can easily get as big as a tennis ball when kept as you are supposed to. For a single black moor you will need at absolute bare minimum a 30 gallon (LONG not tall) In with that he could also have the weatherloach easily enough.

But not in a ten gallon. For either fish.

As for the other tank, it should just about be ok for two as long as there won't be a vast amount of other fish in there.

Sand substrate in both tanks is a must as they are a smooth skinned fish . As Drobby said they love to bury. Mine usually like to have the head and tail showing and the rest under the sand when they aren't gaggling about the tank bottom.

Yeah, okay./ I have pea gravel, no sharpies. :)

so, the loach plan is off. :{
