At the moment I've got 2 7inch weather loache in my 4ft tropical tank.
They're fantastic in there and are best mates with my huge African clawed albino frog but I've read in a few articles that having them in tropical conditions dramatically shortens their life span from 10 years to around 4.
I have a 3.4ft cold water tank with 4 smaller loache and was wondering does anyone know whether I'd be wiser putting them in my cold water for the long run?
They've been in there since they were babies and totally enjoy wizzing around and playing with the fish and love all the plants to hide in so not sure whether to swap?
My proper question is would it be ok to put them in a cold water tank after them starting off from a tropical?
