Weather Loach Tears My Plants Up

Its getting to be a once-a-day thing. My weather loach loves digging my plants out of the ground. Is there anyway to prevent this?

You could put the plants in plastic plant pots, and then bury the pot in the substrate.

And/Or

You could try to attach your plants to wood/rocks to ancre the the roots more.

Put something around it. Like rocks, because a weather loach loooves digging into the substrate. What do you have? sand? gravel?
