We Had An Accident Today!

My wife and son were going to pick me up from work and she had him turn off the light well when he tried to he knocked the hood into the water. Well it ended killing our dalmation molly and our light is not working. We have a couple of live plants in the aquarium and I cant get to pet store til Friday. Will our plants survive without light til then?

You could try posting over in the Plants and Planted aquariums in this forum and see what they say. It might have some starting to die off. Can the fish tank get any sunlight at all? That may keep them up a little.

plants can survive a few days without light, sometimes its actually a good thing

It really depends on the type plants. Some will do better than others but 2 days without light shouln't be a major problem.
