We Are Building A Stand And Want To Stain It.

The guys at Menard's said an oil based would probably hold up better against saltwater corrosion. Could someone name a brand or type for me please? I'm in the U.S.

Possibly some sort of clear Yacht Varnish after youve stained it to your desired colour.

I'll look into that. I live in South Dakota (the middle of the states) so I don't know if I'll be able to buy it locally or have to mail order it

Hehe, no need to go that crazy

Just get some minwax wood stain the color you like and give it 2-3 coats. Mine has stood up phenomenally to the past year. Even the places that get salt spray look fine

Make sure you get in between seams
