They're tank is a very stylish seamless 3 gal acrylic tank. High filtration keeps em goin good but it doesn't make bubbles like some of mine. Due to it being a cold water tank(60~75) and oxygen is more plentiful at colder temps. Are they ok? They act fine. I've had wcs forever and no difference in behavior and no gasping at the surface. I should be good no?

as long as there is some surface turbulence there will be plenty of oxygen getting into the water.

As above - but look out for any biofilm on the water.

If there is only a little turbulence, then biofilm, or oil on the water surface will prevent oxygen diffusion (gas exchange in general).

Mine used to enjoy it when i stuck the filter outflow just above the waterline.
