Wave2k Wavemaker

I had seen a version of this product at my LFS and it was amazing. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this product.

I think I'm going to give it a try. The motion created by this wavemaker looked so realistic. I'll be getting one within the month and let everyone know how it goes.

Looks good, appears to be a simpter version of the Tunze wavebox. The only problem I would have is you can't tune the machine, so you are stuck with a 6 second pulse. If your aquarium is the right length then you will get perfect waves, otherwise I can see it having waves bouncing into each other and starting to cancel each other out.

It isn't as large or as customisable as the Tunze, but it is about 1/3 to 1/4 of the price, and at the end of the day you are creating something more akin to the most natural movement of water fromt he sea, that of water flowing first one way, then the other as the waves come into the reef.

I'd be interested to see how it goes.
