I haven't been back in the hobby long and started out again with basic gear. At the moment I am using test strips for testing my water.

Now I've gotten the bug properly I am going to start upgrading my hardware and bits and a good test kit is my first priority, what do you guys use/recommend. I have a budget of up to around £30.

Cheers for any replies

Not Tetra. :sly: It may be more economical, but it's less accurate and harder to tell the results from the colors on the bottle.

API, you can't beat them. look on ebay you might get one a little cheaper on there.

Nutrafin in my experienc have always been great for myself. However I know the API is very popular. Tetra is not up to the mark in my opininon. Gave me all sorts of rogue results. Nutrafin has been really constant, so have no reason to change :good:
