Water Testing Advice Again Plz

ive just started testin my waters yesterday and the results are on finrot is driving me insane in the emergencys forum,

im going to test the tank water again in a moment and then a glass of tapwater i left out 26hrs ago should i just test the tapwater for ph or test for ammonia,nitrites and nitrates also?

Test all to give you a base level from which to judge your tank's parameters. Test ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH.
