what type of water test kit should i buy for a brackish tank, freshwater or salt water?

Well my API kit Ammonia, PH, Nitrite and Nitrates test both salt and fresh water.

I agree that the Aquarium Pharmaceutical kits are very good. That's all I use. I'm not very knowledgable on brackish water though so I don't know whether you would use the SW or FW kit.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and CFC said:

While i cant be absolutely certain i beleive FW testkits should be fine to use up to a SG of 1.010, above this SW tests will be more accurate.
