Hello everybody! I am a newbie here. i visit here a lot but this is the first time i write.

I have a fishtank that i try to take good care of with the little knowledge i have (it was my husband's but he got tired of all the work, and he wanted to sell it...). to make the story short, the water temperature dropped to 73 degrees, i read in the internet that the ideal water temperature should be around 77, and i am worried that the low temperature might hurt my fish and corals because they are so fragil... my husband and i will do somthing about it, but meanwile, is this really an emergency?? :(

Yes its saltwater so i will move this to the relevant forum where people can help more.
Good luck

Hi im no expert but i was told by LFS to have water temp at 25c or 77f these guys here will know better :) . Come on guys any suggestions on the temp.

Yes but the poster was concerned about temps dropping to 73. No emergency at all. 77 is a nice happy temperature which emulates many fo the wrold's reefs. When we had a significant power outage where I live earlier this year (3.5 days without power) my tank dropped to 60 degrees. I only lost a couple exceptionally sensetive corals but most remained alive and well. Your anemone may nog like the oclder temp but it may tolerate it as well. What kind of nem is it?
