Water Temp

Hello all. After a good week or so, my 56 litre tank is finally set up and ready to add afew hardy Danio's.
I have quite a powerful heater (150w) and the temp is set to 26 degrees.
The heater has a 'pilot light' on it which goes on and off whenever it fancys. I'm not sure if this means that when the light is off, the temp is perfect or that its just broken... Though the water feels warm enough to me.
I have no other thermometer in there and am wondering if its ok to add the fish yet?

I would buy a thermometer if I was you. They're not expensive after all. You're hand is not the best thing to measure temperature with as it depends on how hot you are! The peace of mind has got to be worth a couple of pounds. And it will alert you to any temperature problems in the future too.

What are your other water stats like? Looking good?
