Water Stat Question, Whilst Cycleing

Hi, my thats been cycleing for 8 days (since last wednesday), and my the ammonia im adding (upto about 5ppm) is returning to 0ppm within 24hrs, atleast. My Nitrite is at 2.0 so im just wondering how long itll be until the Nitrite will come back down to 0, im getting some algea too. Oh and there is Nitrate persent too. I havent added any bogwood/rocks etc yet.

That depends on whether or not it has peaked. You may still be on the way up. Once it starts visibly to some down it won't be too long. Tanks cycle in different times. It depends if you have used any media from other tanks etc. The only quick cycle is bio-spira. I ordered from america, it got here fine and cycled in 1 week complete.
