Water Questions?

I did a %50 WC 2 days ago,but it seems as if the water is a little cloudy,and also the hoses on the external filter are really dirty/algae and there nowhere near windows etc,if i use purigen will that make my water crystal clear,or how is the best way to get crystal clear water?
