My fish tank lid is always really wet, so when I open the lid and then close it water gets everywhere. Someone recommended a condensation tray to me, but I was wondering what I could use to help fix this? I have a 10 gallon tank.
Thanks!

i also get it sometimes its drips off my light my guess its the heat the bulb generates, then again i cud be wrong

I think its just natural. Condensation. The heat in the tank will be enough to generate condensation. I've even heard of cold water tanks doing it. Some people use a drip tray/sheet of plastic inbetween the lid and the tank so it doesn't affect their tubes/bulbs.

Do you know where I can find one of those for a 10 gallon tank?
Thanks to everyone that answered!!

To keep the condensation off your hood, you could use one of these between the hood and the tank. Another approach is to buy the glass locally and simply get some of the plastic hinge material from other sources. I happen to have a LFS that carries the hinge material in 6 foot lengths and are willing to sell it by the foot. A couple of pieces of glass from the local hardware store and I have a cover.
