hi i currently have a 6 foot aquarium, but my fish are hardly growing, its mostly tinfoils, bala's etc, my brother has a 3 foot and his fish are growing well faster. although both get get roughly the same, until recently i had lots of coral in mines, but someone adv me this raises ph levels, could this affect my fish's growth also?

flake, bloodworm, zm pellets. cockles and the barbs DEVOUR lettuce

I would feed more of a variety of frozen foods like brime strimp, and daphnia.
Do a search on ph it can make fish ill, if its altered to much.
High nitrate reading can stunt a fish growth.
Also bad diet can be a cause of a fish not growing to well.
Can you post your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.

the barbs about 6", bala's a bit smaller, dollars are about 3"
