Water Changes

Hello, just wondering how often and how much you should do a water change on a 36 gallon tank?

if your parameters are stable, about 8 gallons changed once per week should be sufficient---if parameters are not good,  then changes more often and possibly larger are required---be sure to use dechlorinator if using tap water

can I do 16 every 2 weeks?

also if the capacity is an inch over the limit of inch per gallon  will it be fine?

Most do a minimum of 25% per week.
 
Could you possibly share your stocking with us? Someone should be able to tell if you're overstocked or not and how much % you should be doing per week.

there will be 4 mollies, 1 dwarf gourami, 6 glowlight tetras and in maybe 2-3 weeks  5 glowfish
 
I added the average sizes of the adult fish and it adds up to about 37 or 38 inches
