Water Changes

While I was doing a water change something just kinda popped into my head that I had never thought of before. We I cycled my tank way back I never did a water change until evrything was normal. I had some trouble when I was cycling and I never checked to see wether you are supposed to do a water change. So this might sound stupid (It even sounds stupid to me since I'm not a begginer) but are you supposed to do any water changes while cycling a tank?

ime no because theres nothing creating mess and you need to keep in the bacteria but i may be wrong.

Are you cycling the tank with fish or without fish and just using ammonia?

Not at all actually. My cycling is done. Just wondering if your supposed to do water changes while cycling because I never did.

I wouldn't. It just makes your cycling process take longer.
