Water Change With Hose Pipe

is it ok to do a 20% water change and use a hose from a mixer tap to fill it back up. If so how mush water treatment do i put in the tank is it just 5 ml as usual
is there any speacial method in using a hose to fill my tank

I'm taking a break from doing just that right now. I just add dechlor on the fly, just watch the pressure, some fish don't like a lot of turbulance. I have a valve on my fill hose to adjust the flow, fry get a trickle, most adult fish can handle filling pretty quickly.

Don't walk away for any length of time while filling, sometimes hoses slip out of the clamp you may design to hold the hose. I learned that the hard way.
