Water Change But Mad Cory?

I was doing my weekly water change and I put my hand in the tank to use my gravel vac on the sand where my cory ran right into my hand then he just flew straight into the tank wall then up to the surface to keep getting air and after 5 minutes dropped to the bottom then went to join the rest of the corys.

Why the sudden freak out? Scared me to death.
