Hi All.

I'm doing a water change today but not sure when is the best time to do it. I have pressurized co2 so should i wait until 5pm when it switches off??

Thanks,

Dave

Best time is when the lights are off.

I have always done my water changes in the morning before the lights turn on.

Usually about 3 hours before.

I do all my cleaning and tank emptying with lights on then fill up with lights off.

Don't think it really matters to be honest, I do mine when I feel like it whether lights on or off or before or after or during co2 period without any adverse effects

This is subjective to your areas waters supply and how much dissolved co2 is in your tap water.
If its high your know because your plants will pearl after a water change if you leave the lights on.
If this happens I highly recommend water changes or at least filling up after lights off or the co2 swing/fluctuation will trigger BBA

My plants pearl like mad after a water change XD, I'll sit on the fence with this one, I'm not convinced !
