Water Change Advise Please

to change the water in my tank i use a tank pump, when filling it back up i fill a 10liter bucket up with water at rite temperature and add aqua safe to remove the chlorine and heavy metals into the full bucket, im just wondering are you supost to wait a ceartin time before you can add the water to the tank for the water conditioner
to work or can you just add it straight away?

It works pretty much instantly; a quick stir and you're done
