Interesting watching the male and female clasp together than release a cloud of sperm and egg mix to float around the tank, then they race to collect them and the danios race to eat them...

Wonder if its worth having a siphon in, and just tap it every time theirs a cloud of eggs and sperm. I think i'm going to leave them too it for now, but could be an option next time, Also going to siphon what eggs i can see tomorrow when they are finished and hopefully the danios have left some.

Hopefully some of the eggs will survive! Good luck! :D

I have fry growing from a previous batch maybes 3 weeks ago, i seen them just hatched/hatching back then, however the danios seem more prolific, and have 3 female betta in at the moment due to lack of tank space... they love to hang around where the male (gouramis) builds or building his bubble nest, so i assume they have learnt bubble nest = nice food... hence the reason i'm thinking about the siphon and why i tend to slip into a mcdonalds or kfc lol. Going to have a scrape around tomorrow morning and extract what i can see to save. Just for future wondering if takeing the eggs straight away will harm them/not let them fertilise/stress out the mating pair?

Any advice is welcomed :) please :)
