I'll would like to get my hands on some Dwarf Riccia. Does anyone know where I can get some in the UK, or does anyone have some they can sell me?
Many thanks.

If anyone in canada/Us wants to send me some ill be glad to send a pouch and some money

What about fluitans. It's a little bit easier to get, like ebay and some of the more popular online plant shops

tropica supply both varieties and can be ordered from any LFS who stock topica plants. thats how i got mine.

and sorry, i cant send any due to my co2 disasters it's all algaefied and on route to the dustbin.

thanks for that but already tried it. riccia doesn't like blackouts the same as algae doesn't. after 3 days i had a box of stinking rotten goo. it smells so bad that it is only fit for the bin.

i must have had at least £100 worth of it. oh well i'll just order some more from the LFS when i get the co2 sorted. no biggie. £20 worth will fill out to the same quantity in about 2 months.

*calls LFS to find out who their aquatic plant provider is*

Cheers Jim.

My local Pets at Home store deals with Tropica, so I'll take a look this weekend.

Tropica are out of stock with dwarf riccia and have been for some time. Don't know why as I understood that they cultivated it themselves...

!!***>>??@&* (swearing profusley) damn it. thats really not what i wanted to hear. they better sort it out soon i'm all out, binned the lot last night as i thought i could just reorder some and start again.

i'm going to be another week with no co2 (long story) but i'll get on a mission when i'm sorted. if i find some i'll point you in the right direction.

Jimboo remember you gave me some (dwarf and standard) yonks ago - and then several months I chucked it all as it was driving me nuts (and then did a complete rehaul of my tank, stripped it down completely, the lot) ?
Well guess what - it's back ! I've just returned from my loooooong holiday and spotted a huge lump of riccia beautifully pearling away in all it's glory, in the top of my tank. Where on earth did that come from ?
Anyway, even if you can salvage just a couple of strands, I'm sure you'll be back in business again in no time at all ! :D

Edit: btw. am I dreaming or have you changed from Jimboo to jimbooo ? :S

lol, always been ooo mate.

i know what you mean my cube tank is full of floating riccia and i didn't put any in. well i did but took it out a week later. i myst mave missed a strand lol.

i think i'll get some new stuff though, algae free and all that. mines devestated. still no co2 so no rush. (got a new car to play with in the meantime so i'm more than happy)
