i've just had a rather long chat with my friend sharing all the info i knew about betta's with him (not that he exactly wanted to know) i just did cus i thought id show off my knowledge, then i kind of re discovered my love for these fish, last time i had one in my tank it didnt quite work out as it kept stealing the eyes of my rasboras's, is there any safe way of housing a betta with other fish ? like if it was kept in a heavily planted tank with a small school of fish would it be distracted enough by its surroundings to not bother the other fish in the tank, baring in mind my tank is on the smaller side its 64 litre

I've heard of alot of people keeping them with White cloud mountain minnows kyle, apparently they do really well together in a smaller setup.

i find that if the betta is happy and isn't picked on he wont attack community fish. and can be kept with them. i have done that with my fish and he was great. if he isn't with aggressive fish then you don't need to worry

thank you for your replys :) i used to keep one with a school of lamb chop rasbora, and my tank was quite heavily planted back then now its a little different, but anyway things were going great :) then i started noticing that eyes went missing from my rasbora's my tank is in my room and i spend a lot of time in my room so i spend a lot of time looking into it too, and i never noticed anything wrong, it just seemed after lights out there would always be a fish that has been attacked and i was confused, i want to give it another go though :) im feeling a lot more confident this time round :)
