any suggestions

How many fry do you have, and what size are they?

done yet but plan to put my breed pair of sajica's in the tank, as they get eaten in big tank.
got new tank last night

Do you mean the T-bar cichlid (Sajica cichlid)?

I would get a separate breeding tank or leaving them alone if they are now. The male will become extremely aggressive while protecting the eggs/fry and injure or kill any other fish that comes near the nest.

yes think they are t-bar's

they do hold off other fish but after about 4 days fry are all eaten

surely i can put something in with them in new tank ?

After the fry become mobile, it is really up to nature.  The parents will be more protective over the next and eggs, not so much the free swimming fry.  I would allow the cichlids to breed in the new tank, raise the fry up to a moderate size and then let them back into the main tank and see how that works.

Yeah, I wouldn't try and keep anything else in a breeding tank.

The parents will definitely want the whole tank to themselves while they're spawning and, once you've got fry, they'll need all the room (and lots of water changes) or they won't grow properly.
