Want Platys But No Babies - Anyone Got Virgin Females?

Hiya!

I'd like some platys, probably sunset wagtails or red wagtails, but i don't want babies- no space and lfs wont have them. So i reckoned that if i could find 3 virgin females that hadn't been mixed in with males then theres hope that they wouldn't be pregnant when they get to me. Lfs can't (wont?) order umixed sexes, so do any of you have contact details for folk who might have them? I'm in south staffordshire (near Birmingham)

Oh yes, I hadn't thought of distances! How long can fish be carried in a car? I have a polystyrene box with a lid.
If i did pick up from someone, would i need any stuff in the bag to take up ammonia (can't remember what the stuff is called but its in the bags at the lfs when they get deliveries)
As you can tell - only ever got fish from 15 mins away before!
