Want A New Tank

Hi looking at getting another aquarium to replace the 80 ltr juwel tank I have. My question is what make of tanks should I be looking at. Are RENA tanks good? I have seen this one and would be looking at the 200x50 tank http/www.rena.net/en_gb/products/aquariu...alife_beech.asp

why not just have both i myself have 4 tanks...and getting more soon! 36gal hex and a 40 gal corner! gonna need help with the stocking soon!

We've got the Rena 150 x 50 tank, mainly has Plecs in it and it's great. Beautiful looking tank and easy enough to maintain.

What type of substrate do you use? I was thing of using sand as I believe there poo just sits on the top of it instead of going inbetween it like gravel

Looks like a raelly good tank. I wish I had the room for a tank of that size, i'd have months of fun choosing it's inhabitants.

The tank is actually for my wife, and we are going to make room for it after all whats going on in the tank is 9 out of 10 time more interesting than whats on the tv. If we do have trouble making room for the 200x50 tank we will go for the 150x50 like stang1. What are the filters on them like stang1?

They are not too bad at all, we have 2 filters on ours (both Rena external) and they have been fine. We give them a bit of a clean every 3 weeks or so just to make sure they don't clog and it's a quick and easy job.
We have sand substrate in ours but then we put a very fine mesh over the top of it and covered it with gravel. We don't like the sand and gravel mixing and this has worked out fine. Most of the plants are attached to bogwwod and we cut a slight hole in the mesh for a couple of smaller plants.
