lookit.
they had the bettas next to the TRASH yes that is a bag of trash on the floor, and to the right of the poor fishies were their store trash cans. couldnt get all of it in the pic.
a few of them dead, and others with real nasty yellow water. these were the veiltails, and then on a nice display they had about 6 crowntails. made me sad
my friend warned me not to go LOL.

I once went to a pet store with the tiny vases, that were only halfway filled with blue water.
They didn't even have the decency to fill them to the top! When I bought my Luna, he could barely turn around in the vase and when I put him in a filtered, heated, 10 gallon tank, he looked so happy and suprised!
I'm glad that the Walmart's in North Carolina no longer sell fish
