Wagtails

hi there, is it ok to have 5 wagtails in a tank first then add salt? im thinking of getting some and was a bit confused about the salt thing. i have the tank setup now but no fish in it just now. i also want to add plants, any ideas on them?

i did have 2 wagtails in my cummunity tank but one of them died so i think im gunna do a small 2ft tank setup and get more wagtails.

i was wondering if they needed the salt? they are sunset plattys.

No they don't need salt, platys are true freshwater fish, salt should only really be used for medical purposes in fish like platys for treating certain deseases or parasites. How many gallons is the tank (or what are its dimensions) and are you familiar with cycling or the Nitrogen Cycle?

yep defo no salt with platy, as stated above only for med reasons and at short intervals
