ok he has a very pointy stuck together tail....
how do ya fix it?
i heard that IAL and sunlight.. but were hard pushed too find sun here in england :(

Hiya

I've just had the same problem with Strudel. All his fins were stuck. We increased the aereation to his tank and got him to flare a few times a day to excercise his fins. It's taken along time but the last 2 days they are starting to unravel again. And make sure water is good and clean.......but you know that anyway :D

im lucky its just his tail he is flaring hen i go by the tank but just nothing happening
ill shove him in the sawn tank any way... plenty of flaring toward his ms then!
little tyke!

Sticky fisn can also be due to bad water quality so water stats would be good.

They like to keep you on your toes  Strudels were so tightly stuck, I never thought they would open again, but time and TLC did the trick :good: I'll tell him to stop sending Volt messages

stats are fine although there was a slight ammonia rise last week;)
i keep a good eye on them constantly.... i recently added a new ornament in which i think caued that but a few partial water changes bought ammonia back too 0...

the bulb in his tank is also in need of replacing.... and i did neglect changes slightly the week before last....

ok will keep yall updated :)

Good water quality will help the fiins get back to nornal.
Even a slight ammonia reading can do its damage to fish.
