I was wondering how many of you all visit other sites besides this one. I visit at least 3 to 4 other ones but most of the time this is the one I visit the most. I'm not sure if it's this sites policy to mention other sites, since I don't want to get in trouble from the site managers I won't but I figure most of us have other sites which we learn fish info from. I think this is an awesome site--I think the neat thing is that there are individuals from England, US and all over who come here to share and that is a good thing especially with all the other nasty and gross things people share from around the world on the internet. I am very thankful that this is a very clean site to visit for young to the old, just thought I'd say thanks + this is a great site!

I do browse through a couple of other sites but i have always found (and i'm not just being biased here) that often people will ignore posts from new members and those that dont post much and it can take weeks to get an answer to a question if you get any answers at all.

ive seen that on some sites im on, i like this one because everyone is honest and wont sugar coat it for me i need to learn unfortunatly i nearly learnt the hard way

but i like you guys so im going to stick to this site and get my advise and one day hopefully give some out lol

I use several site's as well as admin to my own rare livebearer site which i've been running for over 7 years

I do frequent one other fish forum, very similar to this, just smaller. Would love to go on Alan's viviparous forum- but it is so slow if you have dial-up. One day we WILL get round to broadband.

i admin my own forms, and go through this one atleast 2 times daily.

I will google hop onto other sites.

But only book marked this one as a forum. Its only one i visit regulary if there is such a thing for me.

This one used to my secondary site actually, but after finding that it was a bit more active and how much I enjoyed the species category layout I've made this one my primary. I however take research from other sites and forums, especially those dedicated to a particular genus / species.

I've had a look at other sites when I've been trying to look something up and I think compared to this site the other are a bit sh1t and are not easy to navigate around. Also don't have as much info or members as here.
Keep up the good work guys! x

There are quite a few other forums I'm a member of, though I post less on them.

I'm a member of like 6 other fish forums, but some of them I hardely ever post on.

I'm also a member of at least 4 more sites but like someone mentioned they take such a long time to answer back and most of them don't seem to be moving along as quickly as this one. For me I can be away from my computer for an hour and almost always there are at least 3-4 different topics or add ons in almost every topic, so I suppose this would rank as my favorite fish site. I personally am not a book reader par say so it's so much easier for me to get on line and chat with other folks about issues that I'm interested in than go buy a 10.00 book and hardly ever read it + you get to know others almost on a personal basis, kinda.

I too visit other fish related forums but only really post on this one
and my own specialist forum.
also non fish related is my sci-fi forum www.talkscifi.net/ (always looking to plug that :p )

I'm a member on 2 others, one is for dwarf puffers as im looking to get some for another tank and another is a general fish forum. Hardly post on either though as the one is dead and i can find everything i need here. At first i found this forum a bit much in the way of all the different sub forums but im starting to get used to it :D

im a member on 2 other ones, one thats for fishkeepers around my area but its really small and one general fish forum that is growing steadily
