Hey all,
For those of you who remember, the Fish Tank in the Vet School lobby wasn't exactly something to be proud of, so our committee decided now was the time to do something about it. The past couple months we fixed the warped hood, replaced the rusted light fixtures, and added a Fluval 404 filter to the existing 304 to finally give the tank the filtration it needed.
AND (drumroll) we finally got the substrate and plants done too!!!
Here's some before pics:
And then we have ground zero...
We're almost there..
And almost finished!! (sorry for the glare, tanks are tough to photo!)
We've still got a bit of work to do, we replaced the old scratched up tank with a newer model, and didn't know the hood/stand would need some adjustments because while the tank dimensions were the same, the edging on the tank was not! I'll get some updated photos when the lights are up and again when we add our rainbowfish.
