hi i changed my tank from gravel to sand a month ago and it went cloudy but cleared up and looked amazing but now in the last few days it has just gone incredibly cloudy i have stopped feeding them for a couple of days as i thought it was overfeeding but its not as its got worse i did a 50% water change and it just gets worse and worse though any ideas what it could be.? i have some algae on the sand now i have 5 sucking loaches but i don't know if they canclean the sand cos they can't suck it or what but anyway any idea what the cloudiness is ? lol

Need a bit more info.

How big is the tank, what's in it, and what are the water params (ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/temp/pH)

Is the tank planted? Are you using any fertilisers?
Are you using any pH regulators (many contain phosphates)?

What does the cloudiness look like (is it white/grey/brown/green)? The first step to curing it is working out what it is, the most common causes are bacterial blooms and algae blooms.

Are any of the fish looking sick or upset?

What happens when you do a big water change? Does it come back straight away? I think that's what you mean.

Sorry to answer questions with questions... I do it all the time, I know.
